And just a record of the thousands, upon thousands of graduates that joined me and while I loved the Daily Show’s investigative reporting piece into ASU I am proud to be a Sun Devil. Why not wear a bikini when it is 100+ degrees outside and sunny 340 days out of the year? And with 60,000+ population you know you get a little bit of everything. Ultra liberal, ultra conservative, international students form around the world, hikers, swimmers, dancers, engineers, artists, and journalists.
That is the beauty of Arizona, those I graduate with, well who knows what positions they might hold in twenty years? ASU attracts some amazing and interesting people and keep in mind that the people on the Daily Show represent only a fraction of the students I walked with yesterday.

So security was tight, but I managed to sneak my camera in . . . can’t tell you how happy that made me. Not quite close enough to Obama to make my 85mm prime work, but an amazing experience nonetheless. I’m going to do three to four seperate posts, one on hats, one on random grads and commencement itself. Here are some random pre-pre-pre commencement stuff.
And my wonderful mother and family:

The ride back home . . . I’m now in AZ for a while, but it’s exciting because tomorrow I graduate! Obama is also our commencement speaker and I plan on sneaking in with my camera bag, should be fun.

My family spent the weekend visiting my Tia Margarita at the Cochise Stronghold in Southern Arizona. The area, surrounding by forestland (their trailer on the reservation there) is beautiful. These were just some of the pictures I liked.

Kate and Rowan’s wedding photos, at least the ones I prefer . . . I’ve fixed them all up and I hope they like the style . . . Again I shot this with fellow photographer: Morgan Bellinger at the Bentley Gallery in Downtown Phoenix last week.
And that’s the end of the night

Rowan and Kate got married yesterday . . . ten years together and they will make a wonderful husband and wife. I had Morgan come with to shoot too, that was wonderful help!
You can see Morgan’s wedding portfolio here and check out his own blog right here.
I’m hoping to have the editing all done by next week on both Maura and Randy’s video wedding and Rowan and Kate’s photo wedding.
