A few of us managed a trip to Mongu to see Kuomboka ceremony. The traditional ceremony is when the Lozi king is moved from his home on the flood plains to his home near Mongu off the plains. I’ll post more photos later as I’m still editing. People use dugout canoes to travel through the shallow channels of the flood plain like the man shown here.
