Six weeks and counting at The Bulletin in far off Bend somewhere in Central Oregon. Today was interesting in the fact that I spent the first half of the day waiting to go over my work with my editor Dean, which did happen, then spending my afternoon at a job far, followed by an organic tomato farmer, and then stalking a Redmond family for wildart. I love shooting features, but man if it doesn’t freak me out. What if it isn’t good enough, what if they don’t want it at all it’s so bad. Im trying to get better and I think I am, but Im still a ways away from where I want to be. While driving back I had to head out to get wildart and I found a son and father slowly breaking their horse, their daughter was incredibly intersting to shoot, but not a strong enough photo to use. I wish it was better, I did not work the situation well enough, but good to know for next time.
