Thursday and A MONSTER TRUCK!

So Cash for Clunkers has been a big program and the subject of a lot of talk in the past couple of weeks. The Sentinel has done a lot of coverage, including this story on how charities are taking a hit because of the program and of course how Sawgrass Ford decided to “crush” its’ clunkers using The INSTIGATOR monster truck. As you know…

Wednesday

So Wednesday was fun, I headed out with Amy Beth, another photographer at the Sun Sentinel to first photograph an elder at his church in Coral Springs, then a veteran returning to school at Florida Atlantic University where I shot some video and our final assignment at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. For those of you new to the Broward County and Palm…

Tuesday

Tuesday was the start of my second week at the Sun Sentinel . . . I admit it kept me up at night during the weekend trying to think of what I wanted to do a story on and thinking wether it had been done before or not. But Tuesday was great, I think I have one of my ideas down and I am…

Saturday

Saturday’s senior prom at the Elks Lodge. Here is the link for the photo gallery that I shot alongside Sun Sentinel photographer Sarah Dussault. Today was a good day.

Thursday

My first day at the Sun-Sentinel was interesting . . . still trying to form ideas about Florida and what I want to do for the next ten weeks. We covered a library for a story about tax issues and dora the explorer visitor at the children’s hospital.

Monday/Tuesday

Cross country trips are exhausting. I left Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday at about noon and arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 48 hours later. I went from point A to point B on Sunday, referring to the above map. Then I drove from Point B to Point C on Monday/Tuesday. Today I am completely exhausted and on the trip I was a bit bored out…

Sunday

I love my family, portraits as I get ready to leave Arizona for Florida I tend to scare children with my camera, or at least I like to think it is the camera . . .

Saturday

Pastillas, pastillas, y mas pastillas
